2nd Look Laptops is not just about selling computers.  We are also a full service tech bench!  Whether you need a complete re-format and operating system install or just a general cleanup, 2nd Look is your one stop for all your computer service needs.

Most "big box" stores have two major things going against them:

• They have an UP FRONT bench charge wether they fix your computer or not.
• Menu driven diagnostics limit their solutions to what they can do, rather than what's best for you.
• LONG turn around times - can you be without your machine for a week?
• They're missing that personal touch - our coffee is free - sit down and relax - let's fix your problem, often while you wait!

So how is 2nd Look different?  For starters, our staff has over 60 combined years of computer service experience.  We have worked with every major PC operating system extensively and are trained to diagnose almost any problem you can have with your machine.

Next, we dont charge to look.  Thats right, you bring your machine to us and we will diagnose it for at absolutely no charge.  We don't proceed with any billable work until you approve it.  And we keep you informed every step of the way so you can approve the work you want done on your machine, unlike those "big box" stores that slam you with unknown and hidden service charges when you pick up your "fixed" machine.

How else is our service different?  If we can't fix the problem then there is no charge to you.  Other stores have bench fees that you have to pay whether they fix the problem or not.

And 2nd Look will never ship your machine to another facility for repair.  At most other repair stores, your machine is actually shipped back to the manufacturer which means you will be without your computer anywhere from 6 to 18 weeks!  At 2nd Look you get your machine back within 48 business hours or you will certainly know the reason why!

2nd Look Laptops can repair any PC laptop or desktop regardless of make, model or manufacturer!

Oh, and did we mention that we make house calls?  Thats right, if you can''t come to us then WE will come to YOU!

Includes:

$70 - less than half of what most "big box" service centers cost and they don't do half of what we do!

Hard Drive Re-Format & Operating System Re-Install

Includes:

• Complete format of your hard drive - everything will be erased
• Installation of whatever operating system your machine is licensed for; Windows XP versions, Windows Vista versions, or Windows 7 versions
• Installation of all system drivers
• Installation of all Windows system and security updates for your operating system version
• Our basic software package; Microsoft Office 2003, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, PowerDVD (Dell machines only) and Roxio Easy CD Creatore (for machines with CD/DVD burners only)

$90

Data Backup, Hard Drive Re-Format & Operating System Re-Install

Includes:

• Backup of all customer related data - we will back up all of your user data (just data, no programs) to a safe location
• Complete format of your hard drive - everything will be erased
• Installation of whatever operating system your machine is licensed for; Windows XP versions, Windows Vista versions, or Windows 7 versions
• Installation of all system drivers
• Installation of all Windows system and security updates for your operating system version
• Our basic software package; Microsoft Office 2003, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, PowerDVD (Dell machines only) and Roxio Easy CD Creatore (for machines with CD/DVD burners only)
• Re-copy of all customer data back to clean operating system
• Data Safe - we will save your customer data for up to 60 days just in case you need another copy

$140 - most service centers will not even perform this level of service!

Data Backup

• Backup of all customer related data - we will back up all of your user data (just data, no programs) to a safe location
• Media transfer - we will copy your data to another hard drive, external drive, thumb drive, or even burn to CD/DVD - your choice
• Data Safe - we will save your customer data for up to 60 days just in case you need another copy

$100 - most service centers will not perform this service, they don't care about your data but we do!

Hardware Replacements/Upgrades

All hardware replacement and hardware upgrade quotes from 2nd Look include installation - most service centers hand you the part and wish you the best of luck.  We install it and test it before we give it back to you!

Can't Come To Us?  We'll Come to YOU!

2nd Look also does on-site service.  Everything from PC cleanups to home network troubleshooting,  2nd Look also makes house calls and we can come to your location to take care of all your technical needs!

$70 for first half hour + travel time and then $70/hour
